Our Benevolence Offering: Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus

 

At Centennial, we believe that love is best shown through action. Our Benevolence Offering, collected on the last Sunday of every five-Sunday month, is a special fund dedicated entirely to meeting the practical needs of people in our church family and our community. It is a direct reflection of our mission to "minister unselfishly in Jesus' name."

Your generous gifts to this offering allow us to be the hands and feet of Christ in a tangible way. Through this fund, we are able to:

  • Provide Direct, Emergency Assistance: We offer support to individuals and families facing unexpected hardships, such as needing help with food or gas.

  • Partner with Local Ministries: We work alongside and support trusted community organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. These partners include:

    • Uplift Mid-MO: A vital ministry that serves as a benevolence referral service for Audrain County, connecting people in need with church volunteers and resources to help them achieve stability.

    • The Help Center: Our local food pantry and thrift store, providing essential food and clothing to families in Audrain County.

    • Rising Hope Meals: A local non-profit that uses our church kitchen to prepare and provide meals for those in transitional housing.

Every dollar given to the Benevolence Offering goes directly to helping someone in need. It is one of the most powerful ways we live out our faith together as a church family.
