Please pray for our North Dakota prayer partners and sister church. The Pastor’s name is Vel Hightower, and he and his wife have been ministering at the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation for 10 years. It is a hard place to minister because the Native Americans are resistant to Christianity. They view Christianity as the “white man’s religion”, and they despise it because their ancestors were forced to go to Church. Please pray that these native people will see Jesus for who He really is and respond to God’s grace and be saved. Vel and Sharon are retiring in July, and Vel is having health problems. They need healing strength and wisdom as they walk through this time of transition in their lives.
